About Tigertail Beach
Tigertail Beach on Marco Island is split by a shallow lagoon that has slowly merged with the Gulf over the years. The lagoon side is a premier bird-watching spot — roseate spoonbills, osprey, and dozens of shorebird species gather here. The Gulf side offers calm swimming, and the sand bar that forms seasonally becomes its own island at low tide.
