The good news is the showers will be short lived, and rain will be out of the picture once the cold front swings through late this morning.
Expect sunnier, breezier weather for the second half of the day with highs in the mid 70s and then some chillier weather tonight as lows dip into the mid 50s by Friday morning.
Friday and Saturday will be quiet weather days featuring plenty of sunshine but some pretty chilly temperatures in the morning.
By Sunday, we’ll track a fairly strong cold front moving into Southwest Florida with rain and gusty winds followed by a sharp drop in temperatures to start next week.
