The heat is on again today with highs reaching the mid 80s but likely still shy of the record high of 88 degrees set back in 2013. Muggy conditions will make temperatures feel closer to the upper 80s at times. Expect a mostly dry outlook today but a stray shower or two is possible into the afternoon, mainly in Collier County.

Today will be a bit breezy with gusts up to around 15 to 20 mph out ahead of our next cold front which will work through the region on Monday.

The cold front will bring isolated showers and storms to the region into the afternoon. Once the boundary passes, we’ll finally experience a significant drop in humidity and temperatures with highs back to the mid 70s by Tuesday.
