SANIBEL, Fla. — A sea turtle was released back into the water after being admitted to the Clinic for Rehabilitation of Wildlife (CROW).

The turtle was found at the Sanibel Lighthouse Pier after it swallowed a hook. The young Kemp’s Ridley Sea Turtle was taken into care by CROW members.

The turtle received a heartfelt goodbye from CROW’s veterinarians, which was posted to its Facebook page.
